ASRW, CCC to Offer Complementary Meeting Rooms at ASRW 2011

ASRW NACE CARS Oct. 5-8, 2011 Automotive Service and Repair Week (ASRW) and CCC Information Services Inc. announced the availability of free private meeting rooms to any ASRW 2011 participant (either attendee or exhibitor) who requests one. ASRW, which features NACE and CARS, ASA's two trade shows, is scheduled for Oct. 5-8 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

The complimentary meeting rooms will be located immediately outside the ASRW Expo show floor in an area named, "The NACE Network - the ONE place to meet." The area will consist of 11 small-to-large private rooms, each equipped with comfortable furnishings, wireless Internet, and a plasma flatscreen or screen projector equipped with a laptop connection. Study Shows Toxin Exposure Possible In Cleaned Towels
In a report released by Kimberly-Clarke, information was revealed regarding the use of towels and the exposure to chemicals in automotive repair shops. The report found that towels, even after they have been washed, can cause exposure to metals, oil and grease as they can easily be ingested orally through transfer from the towel to hands to the mouth. Attendee Registrations More Than Double for ASRW 2011
Attendee Registrations More Than Double for ASRW 2011
Attendee registration for Automotive Service & Repair Week is tracking significantly ahead for the upcoming 2011 event. Comprised of the International Autobody Congress & Exposition and the Congress of Automotive Repair & Service, ASRW is scheduled for Oct. 5-8 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. As of last week, overall registration for both NACE and CARS was tracking 163 percent ahead and conference registrations were 378 percent ahead. The growth is largely attributed to ASRW's new East Coast location. Click here for more.

  NACE, CARS Scholarships Available to ASA Members
Scholarships are available through the Automotive Management Institute (AMI), to collision and mechanical professionals working at ASA member shops to attend the International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE) or Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS).
