Relevant, Timely Topics Planned for 2nd Annual ASRW Industry Forum

ASRW Forum Following last year's successful debut, the ASRW Industry Forum and Reception will return Wednesday, Oct. 5, from 4:30 p.m.-7 p.m. at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

Topics include: "Service Information — Vital to Keeping Cars in Your Bay" and "The Future of Training Automotive Technicians" for the mechanical industry; and "Trends in Collision Repair: A Futurist Discussion" and "The Changing Climate of Insurance Agreements" for collision repair professionals. An hour-long reception mixer will follow. The 2011 Forum will conclude the first day of education at ASRW, featuring the NACE and CARS events taking place Oct. 5-8. MORE

the ASA News-Network will be distributed Sept. 20.

Vehicle Safety Bill Introduced in U.S. Senate
U.S. Sen. John D. Rockefeller, D-W.V., chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee, and Sen. Mark Pryor, D-Ark., recently introduced a bill in the Senate titled the Motor Vehicle and Highway Safety Improvement Act of 2011. New Multi-Shop Operator Symposium Announced
ASRW NACE CARS Oct. 5-8, 2011 A new event specifically for multiple shop operators (MSOs) called the MSO Symposium will make its debut at Automotive Service & Repair Week (ASRW) 2011. The MSO Symposium will take place Thursday, Oct. 6, featuring an all-day program consisting of education and networking specific to MSOs and is sponsored by CCC Information Services, Toyota Wholesale Parts and DuPont Performance Coatings.
